Marquee at Longstowe Hall - Country house wedding reception
Longstowe Hall has carefully chosen a new and especially fine traditional marquee that epitomises the essence of English Country House Wedding Receptions.
It features an entrance porch with double doors, which open on to area with a polished parquet dance floor. This provides extra space for the reception to continue inside the marquee without disturbing the table settings.
Made from natural canvas, which allows the tent to breathe in warm weather, the design will always ensure the garden setting can be appreciated through the clear window pane sections on two sides of the marquee. Or if it is a hot day, by drawing back some of the side sections altogether.
Measuring 80’ by 50’ the marquee with ivory lining is equipped with a full timber sub-floor on which is laid new (green) carpet to complement the lawns that surround the marquee.
Seating can be arranged to the client’s individual requirements with a round or rectangular top table and 5’6” circular tables that seat 10 comfortably.
The 3 central poles provide a stunning opportunity to decorate in the theme of the table arrangements, all of which will ensure that the bride and groom make their own individual mark on the style of the festivities.
Uplighters and chandeliers controlled by dimmers, tailor the ambience as the evening unfolds.
